Hey guys, hope I didnt screw the pooch when I started my bike with the tender plugged in. Have checked everything from dash light, brake lights, turn signals and everything seems OK. Dont think I ran it more then 3 minutes and really dont think I overheated anything to cause an issue. opinions? Thanks in advance

If you have the same type I have I don't believe it would be an issue. Mine hooks straight to the battery and has a fuse on it. You may want to check that. Im not sure if the bike would "back feed" electricity into the actual plug/tender. You may want to check that too.

most battery tenders sense voltage and shut off at about 12.8 v, so no there is no issue. i have mine connected to my bike all winter and always start it with my tender connected. most rr will output a higher voltage and auto shut the tender off
