And the finished product installed on the bike. Once again the old girl has been reassembled and is adorned with a few extra shiny pieces. Oddly enough, I have to admit that the pictures don't quite show just how nice the rear sets look when polished. They look far better in person.

Looks good there Beelee! Angie is fortunate to have you look after her ride like that. But then, I give Viennese's car a good cleaning about every two weeks. And my daughter's when she comes home, and usually my son's too. Hell, I have cleaned and detailed three cars, my truck and my bike in the course of two days a couple times. Can't believe it takes the longest to do the bike!

I have to admit Randy, when you took me for lunch the day we dropped of your wheels to the powder coat place, I was almost afraid to stick my feet on the floor mats for fear of getting them dirty. I'm glad we didn't take my car that day, as I would have been too embarrassed to let you sit in it considering how dirty it had become. As soon as we had kids, my abilities to keep the car spotless have gone downhill somewhat, at least when it comes to the interior. The outside is easy to keep clean, but the inside just seems pointless at times. You definitely have the same bug I do, and I agree that it always seems to take more time to clean the bike than it does the car or Angie's truck.

How very TRUE. Mind you, I usually wash my bike after every ride. Sometimes I even give it a coat of wax.................. I'm soooo sick. LOL

I wash mine before; either way it's not cool to be seen on a dirty bike anyplace IMO ;) Now I am on a guilt trip over my floormats and it's Randy's fault..

Just follow along the perfectly straight lines in my lawn and you should not have to worry about tripping over floor mats. When the kids were young, my cars were kept every bit as clean inside and out. Didn't allow food in them. Want to eat, we stopped and sat at a roadside picnic area.

I am not anal retentive. I leave dirty dishes on the counter at home. Never at work for fear of Shamim, the receptionist. She was only about 4'10" but look out.
