6th gen front guard on 5th gen?

    Does anyone know if :

    6th gen front guard fits the 5th gen.
    6th gen red is the same as 5th gen.

    Are you talking about the fender? If so, then no. The fork diameters are arger on the 6th gen than the 5th.

    Hmm - I am not sure what colours were available on bikes supplied in Australia, so I think the only safe bet is to check the colour of your bike from the paint code sticker - lift the seat and there should be a sticker up front beside the tank which should show the official paint code. The red on my 2007 - is Colour Code R-101C-U = candy glory red - so a semi metallic look red. In Europe the 5th gen models sold in red were a solid red - called "Italian Red". Parked side by side they are very different.

    True, I have the '07 Candy Glory red too. It's absolutely gorgeous IMO. However, the plain italian reds look very similar to me across the two generations.
