Pulled apart and tried to fix a droopy wing mirror. Doubt it worked, but here's hoping.

It rained, so no riding today.

Installed shorty levers from Flea Bay, not bad. Had to go to Honda dealer and get a new brass bushing for the clutch lever, old one badly worn! Bushing $11, lever $12.50 ($25.00 pair)!

Got my ignition switch unstuck. I think the PO put some wet lube in the keyhole & I put graphite dry lube & that formed some paste froze the tumblers & I couldn't turn the key...
Many thanks to all the folks who helped me out with great advice on how to solve my problem!

Sooo, I shot brake cleaner in the ignition keyhole as Allyance & 98Viffer suggested & that cleaned up the tumblers & I was able to turn the key & everything is back to normal :) Many thanks!!!

I looked at mine. Two days ago I was cutting an onion and the onion slipped and I ended up cutting my pinky finger to the bone. I need a few more days to recover. I may put my double bubble back on, I may be imagining things, but I think that with my height, 6 feet 2 inches, or 1.88976 meters tall, couple with my stock windscreen, it is causing my upper body to be a parachute and lowering my fuel mileage. When I got back from my trip to Nashville and Deal's Gap, I left it on for a few days and my mileage was better than now.

No mods or repair. I just spent an hour cleaning up my bike then went out for a nice ride.

Sat on her and stroked her 'till she glistened. (Meguiar's quick detailer)

Fixed the front brake light. One terminal a little loose.

Well I didn't get any actual work done on my bike today however I did manage to pick me up some cool new custom embroidered VFR800 casual wear for those cold winter days when I'm sitting alone out in the garage staring at my bike and thinking up the next weird modification that I'm going to do on it.

For whatever reason the camera flash makes the thread on the bodywork of the bike appear to be Blue in this pic but it is actually a very dark Purple, which is the color that my bike is going to be when we're done painting it.

I think that looks fantastic! Makes the bike look bad in a good way.
