    Couple pics of my 800.

Only mods so far were cutting the rear mudflap, adding the Two Bros exhaust.

Welcome to the forum! Good move with posting pics on your first post. Such a great looking bike. I love the new DLX. And white is the way I'd go too. I hope to hear more from you as you get to know the bike and can share your impressions over time.

Welcome! Is that a Two Bro's pipe? Can we get a sound clip?

I'm slowly changing my Interceptor into a VFR...

    VFR dcal1.jpg VFR decal2.jpg Carby tank pad.jpg

    VFR Decal from Ebay
    Carbon tank pad from Ebay
The right side one looks white because it's reflecting the white wall. They have a mildly reflective metallic finish.

Quality of both items is quite good. The VFR decal is basically the same soft, raised, silver material as the original Interceptor decals.
Even though the VFR's came from China, they got here super quick...I ordered it on 8/23 and got it 9/5.

Very nice looking DLX, and good choice in the exhaust! :amen:

Some day you'll want to get that bike down near sea level- you'll think it grew another 200 cc! I lived in Colorado about 15 years- loved it, but the cars and bikes do run better in CA... maybe too much better!

Jonmarsh, I'm from WI originally. I know exactly what your saying. It seems like everything gains about 100hp. lol.

I'm getting more and more comfortable on the bike now and pushed it a little harder last weekend. I wasn't dragging a knee or anything. lol. But had some fun. I can live with this bike! I'd like to put a different seat on it and light tinted windscreen to keep glare done a little. Outside of that, this bike is almost exactly what I was looking for. Keeper!

Put more miles on yesterday. Saw another fellow '14 VFR owner (red). Anyone on here? Was at the start of Deer Creek Canyon.

I keep riding this bike harder and harder into the corners. Pretty sure I found how far it can be pushed until you hit the feelers. Got caught in the rain, had to go over a very slick dirt road pass to get back home fast and out of the storm. That was slick/ not smart, but came out OK. Had to do a TON of cleaning when I got home.

The heated grips were very welcomed! Too hot on high, but helped keep me warm since I forgot to bring my rain gear with. I'm going to buy a Klim jacket and pants in the near future. ...have to see how the fit.

Looking forward to riding next weekend.

I'll bet that was me. We were stopped on the roadside after exiting the canyon - my VFR and two FZ1's. We had come down from Dillon by way of Squaw Pass and North Turkey Creek. BTW, the East side of Squaw is in fantastic shape, fairly new pavement and no tar strips. We also had the rain to contend with on the way home.

Did you go down Foxton after Deer Creek? If so, I was on the other red '14 you passed going up Foxton.

Chief, sure that was you. Tried getting my buddy to stop, but I think he had too much Red Bull in his coffee. Lol.

    Dave, we did.

Would be fun to get a small group together one weekend before winter.

    Thanks for the compliments.

Hoping to ride this weekend. Looking to ride with a small group no more than 5 bikes. Anyone? If so, PM me your info and I'll text you.

I'm riding for sure on Saturday. Wouldn't mind meeting some other front range VFR riders. I'll be at Moco around 9:00am.
