    Hello VFRWORLD
This might be a long shot............:noidea:
I am looking for an OEM rear rack for 6th Gen (2002-2009)
The wife would like something to rest her back on during a long ride.
I am currently use OEM side rack so Givi Rear Rack will not work for me.
My plan is to Hunt down the OEM Rear Rack and modify the mounting plate to fit the Givi box.
The benefit of using Givi Box is allow me to switch the box and place on my GS as well
Anyone have a set collectting dirt in the corner of your garage and want to part to a good home please let me know.
Thanks in advance and let the hunt begin.......:

If no one has one sitting in their garage, check out David Silver Spares, they have awesome deals on the OEM luggage. They now have a U.S. website...

If you are happy with your current side cases, then one alternative to fitting an OEM frame would be to fit a SW-Motech - alu rack.

    http://www.ebay.de/itm/sw-motech-Al...pt=Motorrad_Kraftradteile&hash=item35e04db957

This rack bolts to the standard pillion handle mounts and provides a top-box mounting location just beyond the pillion seat - so the location is similar to where the OEM plate would mount. You would also need to buy a mounting plate which matches whatever type of top-box you wish to install - so I guess you would need to buy an extra Givi mono-key mounting plate kit.

If you're going on a long trip and want to borrow mine let me know. I can live without it for a few days and you can also borrow the trunk if you want.
I also have extra hardware and mounting plate if you find one that doesn't have it. I can double-check and confirm.

I am not sure if the rack will fit on the 6th gen.
Can you post some pictures of the set up? The mount have to be at the grap handles.

Haggle him down! I'd start by sending him the link to the David Silver Spare and then offer him $150. Worse he can say is no and you aren't out anything except your time emailing him.

The Givi top case mounting kit is not compatible with the Honda OEM sidecase mounting kit. It's a shame too since Givi made both of them. If Scuba was to try and use your top case setup, he would need to buy new sidecases and mounting kit as well.
