I had a Targa that broke when my 2000 tipped over after an earthquake. I'm 6' and installed an MRA Variotour to replace it. It's a far superior replacement. The adjustability is great and moves wind pressure from chest to forehead area. I wholeheartedly recommend the MRA.

I got the airflow screen, I'm also 6'1" so I'll be very pleased with similar results. I have the 15mm risers, but I don't think it will make a huge difference.

I've always been perfectly happy with the stock windscreen. I don't understand all the fuss.

Perhaps it's because I rode an entire season with NO windshield.....(broke in a lowside)....

Well, maybe (without knowing your height) it has to do with how tall you are. It seems to me that the stock windscreen was made for a 5'4" 125Lb Japanese person. Being 6'1" changes the math a bit... The wind blast hits me in the mid - upper chest when in a normal comfortable riding position. I don't care to stay tucked for more than a few minutes at a time. All I really want is to move the wind up to my helmet. I'm going to try an install the windscreen this afternoon after I take my dog to the vet for his checkup.

Did you have any trouble with installation? I was taking a brief look in there this morning and I didn't spend too much time looking, but seems as if the dash/display has to come off to get the windscreen on. Is that correct?

No, the two 5mm bolts come off and then you remove the plastic shroud. I did mine in 15-20min

I can walk you through it if you need more information

Got the powerbronze airflow screen installed. Thanks to icycletomuch and NZCam for the tips and help with the install. I like the way the Powerbronze screen looks. It's like they took a ZG double bubble and smoothed out all of the contours. The iridium cool blue color goes quite nicely with the pearl white. It definitely raise the impact point of the wind. Not as high up as I would have liked, but better than stock.

The "wind" on a riders chest area whilst riding a "sport" type motorcycle assists in keeping weight off the wrists.

Sorry Sammy, I didn't see your question until today. I was about to point you to the tips and photos I did in the Givi Windscreen thread, but it looks like you found it already. Love the Cool Blue Iridium on the white bike, you definitely nailed the colour choice there. :high5:

I rode about 20,000 miles last year with NO windscreen (lowside).

Nothing will make you appeciate the stock windscreen more~

I've got a Puig double bubble on my '15 VFR, works really well and was a breeze to fit, it fits perfectly

I'm 6'2" and the wind is lifted off my body and hits my visor straight on, I was out yesterday and my visor had to be cleaned off twice, but only a couple of smears on the screen

I've only tried the OEM screen and fitted the Puig as soon as I could, I've swapped all screens on my bikes for double bubbles, when I was at the NEC Bike Show Pyramid Plastics had some triple bubble screens for customer comments with a view to production later this year

Judging by the difference the double bubble has over a regular screen the triple should be a noticeable change, there were lots in this years TT although I can't an image at the moment

    That's great information Thumbs, thanks!

    Couple questions:

You're 6'2", but what's your inseem? Trying to figure out where your height is in relation to mine (I'm 5'10" with 33" inseam)

Also, that looks like the "Racing" model, I'm assuming that double bubble is the style, not the model name. Is that the case?
