Will you be able to aim them properly? If you street-fighter something, I am more a fan of one single head light. In your case, this would not apply. If you like them and they are an "illuminating" experience, then by all means, "go-for-it."

I am broing when it comes to that kind of stuff. On my latest bike, I still run the original honda propriortory bulbs, when they burn oot I will use these rings that convert a standard H4 bulb into honda think one :loco: :mech:

Cheers, thanks for shaing those pictures

I glassed the headlight and the projectors mount to the adjusters. If i would have had the igniters i would be riding with them now.

Update at 37400 miles. Had to replace the worn rear tire.
    [IMG][IMG][IMG]
im sure i could have replaced it with more expensive rubber, but the 180 Contimotion has felt good for my riding.
Next time around i may try something different. At $93 shipped... its now on and done.

    And for the next issue...
i was riding home from work today... 37600 miles now, and my clutch started to slip. I go to pass a pickup truck and the clutch slipped a lot more.
    I made it home safely.
Im just gonna gut the old engine of its clutch.
    And swap out.

You sure your clutch master cylinder is clean and up to spec? :mech: Could be a return issue, maybe your clutch line is nasty. I did the braided steels on both of my gen3 bikes. When you get the clutch apart, see if the steels are blued. I got oem replacements on both of my bikes, the one with the high mileage it was only noticeable when riding over 120 mph, kinda held a little better. There are measurement specs for the parts you plan on replacing, its in the old Manual yah know...My school of thought is if your gona take the thing apart like that, why bother measuring anything, just replace with new friction plates. Anyway, both of mine are good to go, I was dicking around with my 91 today and noticed one of the insulator bands was crooked looking at it through the fairing. I popped off the mid and addressed the loose band on the carburetor, it was WAY loose. Just goes to show yah, you gota regularly go over your stuff. Cheers and stay KEWEL

    Oh boy... old motor!
you can see the lose starter clutch bolt. It chewed the inside up.

i put the washer for the starter idler gear in the front and it didn't crank. Opened the book n found it goes behind it gear. Took it apart again in the dark n took care of it. Fired right up.

So yesterday on the way to work, I pulled in the clutch for a down shift into a blind turn and it felt like I was heavy on the brakes. Today I looked the bike over and found my rear rotor now has cracks and don't look so nice.

I replaced my rusted out one with an EBC, it cost but what can you do. There sre used ones on ebay, i got a braided steel line I got with a donor caliper, looks all official and chit, but I rarely rely on the "rear." Good luck

Look, if you want, I will send you my old take off rotor for postage. Matter of fact, I will mask it and bead blast the thing with walnut shells. Bear in mind, I am up to my arse in alligators here, but to help out a fellow gen3 rider, I can go the extra distance. Let me know...

Nice looking tail bag, I got your package labeled and ready to ship, I am thinking about going across the street and using the UPS store, they do Fed-Ex or Brown. Anyway, I used to use a tank bag only, (made the mistake of trying a magnetic one once, never again as it scratched my tank on my "Hawk.")

Tail bag is where its at, I aways run one! Cheers

Well I found out I have a thermostat that's good. Just pinched thr conector to the temperature sender a bit so its now tight. And installed a not so bent radiator I found on ebay along with some clipons... my throttle side was bent.
