    Hi!
I just bought a second hand VFR 95. This bike was new in the USA and have now a new home in Norway. In the registrationpapers it is written that it have only 65kw, normaly in the us it should be 73 kw right and in norway normaly 78 kw or 108 bhp? I need help to find where the block is. (sorry for my bad english). Pleas help. The bike will not do more that aboute 200 km/h (125 (mph)

With out riding and hearing and seeing, you know it's a touchy thing going on, LOL Be hard to tell, but I'd be going after the basics, air filter, fuel system clean? tune up with valve check. spark plugs for starters. An after market exhaust wouldn't hurt either. But thats not the problem here. I'd definitely go after the carbs, has this been sitting for a while? also, some will disagree here, but 4th gens love premium fuel and they seem to do better with synthetic oil. FWIW mine is putting down 98 hp to the ground. goes like stink, couldn't be happier Good luck

I was under the impression that the VFR came in different states of tune/different cams, etc. for different markets. I heard that the JDM (japanese domestic market) MY2000-03 VFR 800 was only 85-90 horsepower (about the 65kW you list). So maybe you have a JDM VFR?

Did you have the bike dyno'ed? How do you know it's "only" 65kW?

I have a USDM '96, and it doesn't have an issue going over 125 mph.
