GWRA- how many people join there events?

Unsure of other locations but around here the GWRRA(goldwing group) is very organized and runs many courses, track days(don't laugh those 1800 do alright), day runs, and weekend trips.

Is it common for VFR riders and other touring sort of bikes to join up with the gwrra to participate in these events? I find them a great sourse to find riding partners the only disparing part is the diffrence in demographics as i am only 24.

Or do others have a better suggestion for meeting riding partners?

I basically ride alone and kinda like it. It is nice to ride with others and I have meet some really cool people at Rallies and Charity/Poker Runs. Poker runs are great for meeting people in your area to ride with. My real problem is finding lady riders that wanna go distances - still working on that one.

Thank you for that, there is myself and a fellow who rides a backbird and we typically take of on these rides. Didn't want to be rude as there track days are fun, and there organized rides do cover some nice ground. but as i said the demographic is quite diffrent and was looking for something a little more....my speed.

was hoping to see if there was any better way to meet people.

    And i have a lady but she's not a rider :(

Sorry for my belly button reaction... A start is to hang out on this forum. Also check out the HSTA. See if there are members on the Canuck side. Welcome and good luck.
