Nice. It looks a lot cleaner in the after picture. It's subtle but better.

I wonder if the Honda saddlebags would still fit as the muffler seems a bit higher. I like the blacked out lower fairing.

I lucked out. I have an older house built about two feet high and we only got about a foot or so of water in the yard. I rode the bike and all the cars through a few inches when it started rising, but it never got too bad. Just about everyone I know down here got some water, though. How about you?

27 here. 2014 standard in red. The VFR is a bit of an adjustment from the last bike I rode, a 1973 SL 350.

Have a sister n law in Watson that flooded, two 2nd cousins and two 1st cousins in Denham Springs that were completely flooded. I don't live there now but grew up there. It's a good place to see really bad weather.

Central took it the worst in EBR Parish; but LP had 80% flooded
3 coworkers on my shift couldn't even get out of the Pariish to get to work. Everyone, either flooded or knows someone who did.
This is going to be a long recovery.

a buddy of mine already sold/traded it in. Bought it, put on a whopping 320 miles, and was looking to sell it. Asked me, only wanted $6900 for it. ended up trading that and his Harley in on another Harley. Not the first one he owned, either. Had several in the past.

got a chunk of change as inheritance. He's going through it pretty well.

That I would imagine that it would be. Have Fun with it. I am still getting used to mine. 1850 miles on it and I am getting advise from this group on suspension adjustments on the rear. If you want any advice on the standard ,get a centerstand on it. Prices range online from $80-127 and I had my dealer install. The install was the pricey thing at 1.5hrs shop time but in total $230 and willsave you in time doing your own oil changes and Chain maintenance. It is also about as much as wheel hubs and a pull up stand in cost. Take care and welcome.
