Awesome, Rusty!! Today was bright and beautiful, although warm.

Were you in full gear? Did you find some new gear or gear?

I'm so used to being in full gear, it gets hot but it doesn't phase me too much anymore.

Wanna go moto-camping in a few weeks? No Motel 6 camping though. ;)

There are some great people in Kansas but the place scares me.

Why? In the Land of Odds, no mountain will ever block your view; no ocean spray will rust your metal; you're halfway to somewhere else; and you have a good chance of being blown away during twister season! :smile-new::smile:

Don't forget the 11 curves in 318 miles!!

Yep, full gear and I'm going to try and keep it that way when I ride from now on (life is too short even without safety gear!). May be tied up for trip, but we'll talk.

    Good on you, Rusty!!!

It's a great habit to get into. Life truly is too short, no need to potentially shorten in even further. :)

    Ran into Frank last night.
    20161001_234132.jpg
    2006 Black VFR.
I suggested he join VFRW (he's a lurker here).
His moto has electrical issues and K&N oil filter.
Told him there are plenty of electric and oil threads to have fun with here. Teeheehee

Did you get a photo of his windscreen?? Curious to see exactly what he's done and hear what he thinks of it.

Nope, no photos of it directly, but in this photo you can see how it's cut down...beginning at the edge and at angle to the center.[IMG]

Did you ask him why he did it and what effects it has?

No, we didn't even discuss it.
I'm not sure if he even did it or not.

Well, beings you like the taller windscreen, I can't imagine you'd like any effect a chopped screen would give.

No. I love my screen for the riding I do, but I'm always curious to hear about mods folks have done and their effects. :)

Yes, I did show him that pic.
He couldn't believe I didn't go down. He said he just did an oil change with a K&N-204. Said it's his call, but Honda Genuine Parts all the way for me know.

Haha...most of the time I wear my boots, I'm commando. Well, most of the time I am commando. The things I have to resort to when I don't have leathers. Teeheehee

Saw a seemingly rare site...a 6th Gen Viffer in Kansas!!! Was at the last monthly bike run, at Cassoday Kansas...Had to check the tags to make sure it wasn't Jeff_Barrett making a secret run! I never did catch up with the rider though. This is only the 3rd unidentified 6th Gen I've seen this year here.
