So the engine finally gave up the ghost and I'd rather just part out everything since I got my eye on a newer bike.

Anyone interested in parts? Here's a picture of the bike when it was working:

As you can see it has some nice silver powdercoated wheels and decent fairings. Plus there's a sargent seat, zero gravity windscreen, etc... Basically everything except the engine is up for sale. I'm located in zip code 30040 for the local buyers.

I'll be selling the engine for scrap metal. But the clutch cover isn't totally flawless. It has a slight scrape from a drop. You can see attached pictures.

Joey, contact our very own derstuka. He took a spill last year and is in need of center and left fairings. Are you getting another VFR?

Interesting my left fairing is in great condition, it's never been dropped on that side. As for another VFR well, sorry to break your heart but I got my sights on a Ducati 1098. The newer VFRs just don't appeal to me.

And thanks for the heads-up on Derstuka!

yes sargent seat is available for 200 bucks. You can see more pictures at this ad: http://vfrworld.com/classifieds/showproduct.php?product=6796&title=5th-gen-sargent-seat&cat=4

Now to clarify when you say headlight unit, do you mean just the headlights itself minus the fairings? Like this one: http://www.hondapartshouse.com/oemparts/a/hon/506c2b1df870023420a30f6f/headlight

If so, yes I could let the headlights go for 50 bucks. They're in a decent condition but they've had over 40k miles of bug splashing so it's not totally flawless. You can see pictures of it at my ad: http://vfrworld.com/classifieds/showproduct.php?product=6802&title=1999-front-fairing&cat=4

I definitely want the windscreen, and the midpipe, if it isn't just one piece with the slip on. Pics of the fairing and tank? Pics of the brake calipers and forks, please?

Yes here's a picture of the tools and the bag:

    DSCF0051.jpg

It's probably missing some minor tools from the original but you can have it for 20 bucks + shipping.

Unless you're local the shipping cost would most likely be not worth it. Plus I have a possible deal in the works with derstuka on some of the fairings.

How about the windscreen and Midpipe? I may also be interested in the foot peg mounts, but I may possibly go for a Sixth gen set. And the seat cowl?

Ok here are pictures of the windscreen along with how it looks on the bike:

    11781814_10205735935052195_5386814072845394741_n.jpg DSCF0058.jpg DSCF0059.jpg DSCF0060.jpg DSCF0061.jpg

It basically looks like new albiet some barely noticeable bug splatters. I'm asking 50 bucks for it.

As for the midpipe, I'm not sure what you're referring to. Is that the pipes that connect directly to the engine or just the slip on?

Here are pictures of the header pipes that lead directly to the engine. As you can see they're not the prettiest, after all they've had a hard 40k mile life.
    DSCF0064.jpg DSCF0066.jpg DSCF0067.jpg

As for the slip-on I do have a classified ad you can check out, there are pictures: http://vfrworld.com/classifieds/sho...=vance-26amp-3b-hines-exhaust-1999-2001&cat=4

And for the foot peg mounts, again, I'm not sure if you're referring to the passenger or the "driver" foot pegs. So I went ahead and took pictures of all of them:

    DSCF0062.jpg DSCF0063.jpg DSCF0068.jpg DSCF0069.jpg

Regarding the forks and brakes here you are:

    DSCF0070.jpg DSCF0071.jpg DSCF0073.jpg DSCF0074.jpg

I'm willing to part with the forks and front brakes for 200 bucks. If you want the triple tree too, add another 100 bucks.

And I do have the seat cowl in this classified ad: http://vfrworld.com/classifieds/showproduct.php?product=6795&title=fairings-gas-tank&cat=4 You can have it for 25 bucks

I believe I only need the actual headlight unit, not the body work, as the screen on mine is cracked. I'm new to the vfr game so I will need to look up parts numbers at home to be sure. I'd also like the tool kit if the other dibs doesn't go through.

Not a thing wrong with a Duc, they make good bikes for sure! A plus .. it's a V motor. You'll always be a VFR brother no matter what you ride!
