Up to 22 so far! We sure could use some northern plains states, the southwest (Texas, New Mexico), as well as more in the south. I hope more of you decide to make the jump and be part of the team!

I do not see my information on the other page. I'm I doing something wrong? Would like to help where I can. Let me know if you need more information from me. I think Between Gator Greg and I we can cover most of the Northeast part of Florida.

Apologies brotha, you must have slipped past my already slipping mind! I'll do it as soon as I get done with my ride.

    Cheers,
    Jason

Yeah, but everything is A-OK. All sillies and drawings aside (sorry, you are stuck with that about me):

The real drill is our community here would benefit from more members signing up!

I know there are more of you wonderful VFR souls out there that would be willing to help another rider out.

If there is information you would rather not have listed, just let the Derstuka know. And as mentioned in the directions to this post, you have several options for being contacted if you want to keep information private.

If you have any hesitations or questions about volunteering, let him know too. I volunteer him to helps you!

We are an awesome place! Let's be ready to be even more awesome on the road!

Back in the day (80's) the AMA had the same thing. It became a lot better when they made a hand booklet of all members by state. It was called "The Helping Hands" and was sent out to all participants. I carried it on my bike for years. Not sure if it's still around or not. It was updated yearly. Can we do this also? It would really cut down on time trying to find help. I'm sure we could find the moola to do so.

    Cheaper?

Well, most people are not keen to that idea. Even the Moto rescue on Facebook doesn't require that. They contact you thru Facebook alerts. I can understand not wanting the entire world to have your cell.

Currently, the main issue is getting people to sign up. Oodles and oodles of members have viewed this thread, however, the majority haven't signed up. If I require a phone number, it will only scare more away that have already signed up. Visibility-wise, it actually might be better to post to the forum as more people would see it.

It's not perfect, but it is better than "stick in the eye." Fine-tuning and changes to improve will happen as we progress. This is living, breathing, changing, thread (document).

    Thank you for your suggestions.

I certainly don't want my cell out there.
