She still fit on the bike, just couldn't reach the ground....... they do make a special blow up donut for the seat when you have that issue.....
much less obvious than sitting on tires.

Just saw this Bubba. I've got some junk in the trunk but it's not that much more than 6" back, and what is fit just fine in the space.

I'm just thankful I don't have tenders...they would have been smashed.

But I was tippy toe because I couldn't slide down into the seat since the tires were in the way. And sitting down in the seat makes all the difference with me touching better.

Next time I strap tires on, you come, you see.

Again, late to post but took my 09 to the dealer yesterday so that the insurance company can get their estimate. For the most part, the bike needs a new front sub-frame, front cowl, right hand mirror, left body panel, windscreen and GIVI top case replaced. Tallying up just these parts and no labor, came to $1,424.00 and that's using pricing from Partzilla (for Honda parts) and Revzilla (for aftermarket parts). Now I have to wait for my insurer to go see the bike and then wait for the check to come and then get the repairs done! Arg! It wouldn't be so bad if this wasn't my commuter and the fact my 01 is not quite ready to get on the road.

I guess if I wanted to, I could just throw on the beat up body panels I have for the 01, just so I can ride her again but then I'll get lazy and not work on them proper, then it'll be another 2-3 years with beat up body work! I know, first world problems.

Late night riding at its finest last night!!

Put about 200km on the bike last night and hit those twisties hard and fast!!

Nearly ran down 6 trash pandas and 3 smelly striped cats during various parts of my travels. [IMG][IMG][IMG]

Ok, I haven't seen many in my life of riding, just dogs, cows, sheep and antelope. More antelope have tried to kill me more so than others. They seem to see me on a long road with a sloping hill and say "That's Mike, lets see if we can actually make him shit his pants this time! None of us has not died yet!"

Just a question. Why not sell it whole? More cash in parts?

Yep. In fact just bought some of his parts. Look pretty sharp on Aurora too ! New Corbin and givi brackets and top case work pretty well with her!

It's easier to hide bike parts from the wife, spouse, significant other....I tried to sell it whole. No one appreciates them than VFR owners. And yes parts have more value.

Washed and waxed both of our 2014's in prep for riding tomorrow. Also fitting the stock exhaust back on as there were fix-it tickets being handed out last week. Amazing how dirty they can get after 200-300 miles...

Wow, I better stay out of OC then, cuz my 99 is a lot louder than a 14+ could be due to me having no cat.
