You'd be amazed at what high doses of adrenaline and morphine can do ...

The rain, lack of dry practice for the other riders, and modern drugs made it not that hard to believe. His leg is pinned, not healing together naturally.

Wow! Got to see racing history today. Kudos to Rae, gets his 50th win along with a triple world title, first rider to get three in a row! All that with a 16 second win over Melandri. Have to say he did excellent too, did a big comeback as did VDM, crashing out and then taking 9th, not sure what happened to Chaz but he fell down the order pretty quickly near the end.

Although not a very exciting race, other than the last minute battle between Sykes and Melandri still had to watch it all.

Man, if it wasn’t for bad luck Camier wouldn’t have any luck at all! Another DNF and so close to the finish too. Have to say that the Yamaha boys are doing pretty good and getting better all the time. Too bad Honda can’t get it together.

So the answer to the Chaz question yesterday, the electronics were fouling up on him, switching from wet to dry mode they said. Imagine coming out of a corner in the wet mode and getting on the gas and BAM! dry mode kicks it! Today showed what he can normally do, 8 points separate him and Sykes for 2nd place this year. It’s 11 points between Lowe’s (200) and VDM (189) for 5th place, right now it’s Kawasaki 1&2 and Ducati 3&4, should see some heavy racing from the two Yamaha boys, as both fight for the first Yamaha in the points standings. Although the champion has been crowned still going to watch the remaining races.

Same thing happened to me. BeIn sports has awful programming data.
It was rebroadcast at 10 pm and I watched Rea win it all. To bad about race 2 though.

Yes the race for the # 2 spot is going to be good, especially with Chaz winning race 2.

It would have been a real race if Johnny Rea hadn't had his brake and footrest assembly ripped off

Hurt his toe next to his big toe, very lucky as his boots had tyre marks all over .... he didn't seem too concerned "I'll get it X rayed when I finish watching the race"

Thanks John. The last shot I saw on TV was him standing kind of funny, looked like he was hurting.

MM came close to really screwing up. The low side save was amazing. How many times can he do that?! Kid has to try and win I guess.

Almost threw it all away. Saved the crash and maybe the title, though it didn't look as though Dovi had anything for Zarco and Pedrosa.

MM was particularly candid today in the post race interviews. Talked about the stress of racing and winning at that level. If that guy is losing his hair already, he's going to have a heart attack.

He also talked about his early season struggles and that he was riding because he had to, and not because he was enjoying the race. Maybe he'll be "gone fishing" early like Stoner. It makes what Rossi has done for so long that much more incredible when you hear the younger guys talk about it like that.

I think the biggest difference between MM and CS is that CS didn't like the non-racing stuff, like the press interviews, the "dog and pony" shows for Honda and all other items that didn't pertain to being on the track. Imagine now with all of the social media interaction and particularly the social media questions they have during the press conferences, I think CS would have the heart attack!

Similar to Rossi though, as long as MM is having fun and getting to battle it out on the track, he'll stick around. Honda just has to keep working on giving him a bike that can perform and give him that good feeling.

He said that he too comfortable riding behind Zarco, he knew he had a faster pace and was losing his concentration and was making too many mistakes not pushing it, then when he started to push it, he made the "big" mistake but in typical MM fashion, he showed just how well he can save a crash. In the post race interview, they mentioned his record setting 27 crashes during this season and he chimed in "27 and half...".

It would be a lot more than 27.5 with all the other knee and elbow saves he has done! I love watching him race but I'm still pissed at his asshat behavior with Rossi during the 2015 season.
