    Thats a good one. I had that in my VFR for 7 years. Can't go wrong with it

    The lithium batts are light weight, and expensive.
    Just put a good lead acid batt in there.
    You won't notice the weight diff except when you are installing it.

    Current one I have is from batterymart, it's ~$55 and didn't last more than 3 years.

    I replaced my battery with a low price gel one at roughly $35. Test to see how long it lasts, a yuasa battery is aroung $250 so I figured it was worth trying :)

    Seeing its an R1 bike, do you want to go light weight? I put Shori Lithiums in both the CBR RR and the VFR. They have been great and very light weight.

    Sorry to hear that.

    Have had several of their batteries "BIG CRANK model that have never let me down.

    With a trickle charger I typically get 42-48 months life span and consider that acceptable.

    Keep us posted on where you settle on to purchase.
