Just picked up a Gen. 7 (1200F) and want to mount my Garmin Nav 5. I can handle the wiring but can not find a place to mount it. What methods have you found? Pics would help. Thanks, Steve

Get the ram mount that fits into the center of the steering bolt. It just slides in the you tighten it up. Neat and clean

I have mind mounted on the left side just inside the switches on the handlebar. I have to dig deep to find photos of that if I have them. The reason I mounted it there instead of the center, which I was leaning to, is that I did a lot of travel with a large expandable tank bag. I could not see the screen over the bag if it was mounted in the centre. I have never changed it back. Where it is, it gets in the way of absolutely nothing.

Thanks - I did not see this mount on the Ram website. Good find.

Ram mount that screws to the steering head located between the fork caps.
