    i don't have much ca$h to sink into the project, but i've accepted the challenge of getting it sorted and RUNNING !

    Recently got 2 half-days back in the shop after a 3 month winter weather delay to work on this project. :homer:

    Removed the 2 leaky valves for inspection using improvised spring compressor and naturally lost a collet and cap when they sprang out ! :( looked, no find yet.

    Valves don't seem bent, found some rust on seats and faces and some roughness, so planning to do a hand valve-lapping using a drill for power. over 45 years wrenching and never had to do this before o_O

    Maybe valves that sat open rusted most ? o_O

    Due to weather factors :Cry: another month at least before more work.

    You may know this little tip, but use a piece of fuel line as an interface between the valve and drill. Gives flexibility and makes the task much easier!

    Small progress is still progress, so good job (except for the losing the parts).
