Wanting to replace my rear shock I started looking for replacement as original shock was pants in the first place. Can't believe how much replacements cost then I came across this on eBay. Ohlins rear shock and front springs and fork oil all set up for your weight and not stupid money, just thought I'd pass this info on in case anyone else is thinking of upgrading suspension. Mine on order Omnia racing on eBay.[IMG]

I might be wrong, but that looks like a 6G kit.

I think what he was referring to was the listing shows '2002>', which suggest 6 Gen (2002-2009)

To me it reads "2002 and onwards".
But like I said, I could be wrong.

Well if it follows the way it works in math, that would be 2002 and greater. If it was meant to be up to 2001, it would be <2002...

Anyway, hope it works out for you.

    Cheers

Do know what I think your right so have cancelled it I searched for 2000 to 2001 . Wish they would put vtech at end of description FFS still saved me some pennies. Checked on ohlins site and rear shock is an stx. Bummer.

Sorry about that, always a bummer when what looks to be a good deal turns out not to be. If you're on a a budget, look into DMr www.daughertymotorsports.com, although you're across the pond, his work is great and shipping charges are usually very reasonable. Plenty of us here in the states have gone here, myself included. I had him rebuild three different shocks and two sets of forks and I am very satisfied with the results.

    Cheers

Shit happens now been told the power commander I ordered not in stock till end of Jan so cancelled that too. This is when you wish you had a more modern bike. Everything on hold now got to decide what to do wether to get a newer bike and get rid of vfr. Will sleep on it for a few days.

I've been investigating and the VTEC shock is the same but you need a 10mm spacer as it's a tad shorter so may be fine after all but I doubt fork springs would fit
