Thought I would share my first review on this bike with the forum. Have parts on order for the upgrades and will post as well. As soon as we see 50+ degrees again, will take her for a run up Jack Mountain for some great curves and top speed runs.

I applaud your oil change regime during break-in. I would think that one change before the end of the break-in period should suffice, but one more certainly does not do any harm.

Actually, BMW changes oil on their track day S1000Rs every 1000kms. There is nothing better you can do for the health of your engine.

Have fun with the VFR. And, of course, white is the color to go for ;)

Thanks Thomas - agree on the color for sure! I followed the same procedure on my 2008 (WHITE ALSO) - and ended up putting almost 16k miles on it without any issues. Also, coming from dirt bikes - a dirty air filter and old oil can make the difference between first and second place on the podium.

I bought a shorty delk carbon can and rear hugger - hope to get them on this weekend and post some vids, wish me luck!

Amen, brother. I learned taking maintenance seriously watching the fast guys ... in their pits between turns.
