The up side is all the vibrations I had on the pegs are completely gone.
And the gear changes now have a shorter throw due to the linkage arm and leverage affect.
    One happy camper.

I have replaced all of the coolant hoses. Not a job for the faint hearted.

There is a newer app which I hope succeeds.
Called "Garagetime", it links people to local DIY spots. Fees vary, based on the space available and other items, like use of tools, etc.

For people who want to work on their own machines, but lack the space, it'd be a great option.

Not much coverage yet. But that will change over time, I hope.

FINALLY got a map loaded into my PCII. I've owned this bike for a while now and it's never had a map loaded. I'm curious to see if I'll feel any difference. I'm going to try a few different maps to see if I noticed a difference. At least with the PCII I can make small ignition changed too, not just fueling.

I get my front fairing stay tomorrow, along with my Plastex kit so I can fix my fairings. I'm only missing the little triangular plastic pieces that go behind the mirrors. Hopefully soon I'll be riding again. Can't wait!!!

There's actually I've near me! It says they specialize in cruisers and dirt bikes, but some things are universal.

I should probably elaborate on my post some.

Since I have a Power Commander II, it has an old serial port cable. These haven't been used for a loooong time. I was referred to a cable on Amazon that is USB to serial and it actually worked. I've tried others and it didn't. I was having trouble getting it to connect, so I shut the bike off and then I held all three buttons down and turned it to the on position for about 15-20 seconds and then when I released them, it connected!!! I installed a map that affects fuel and ignition, requiring premium fuel, so I'll use that.

My bike has a K&N air filter and a Delkevic header with a Two Brother's Reaching slip on. So, while there isn't a specific map for that pipe, I decided on a map that I guessed was similar.

I can't wait to ride it and see how it works!

Changed oil and filter, bled brakes and clutch, pulled out front pads and gave them a light sand together with my front disks, pulled apart my front forks to change a couple of shims and oil height, finished painting my new 8 spoker ready for a tyre.
All ready for a 3000km round trip to WSBK at the Island in 2 weeks. Can't wait.

The past couple of days I have been fixing fairings and the mounting tabs on my speedometer after I jacked them all up in my crash.

Plastex kicks ass! It works very well! Cures quickly and if you follow their directions, it's quite strong! Saves me from having to buy new fairings! I'll just reuse the Chinese set the previous owner put on. $40, or $400... Hmm...

I have a cool idea for the paint. I'm going to do a two tone orange and white with a pearl over the top in Plasti-Dip to see if I like it enough to paint it that way. I'll post pics when I'm done.

Tomorrow is more sanding and I also am going to install a set of Galfer sintered brake pads. It has black Galfer pads on it now, but they have to get clamped down pretty hard to get the braking performance I want. The previous owner put them in and had a single set of the sintered ceramic pads, so I bought a pair for the other front rotor. Got them for a great price of $12.98. Someone had them on clearance.
