Piddled around the Ozarks again recently. But I'm going to sleeps shortly.
Starting this thread will be motivation for me to wrap it up. Tomorrow though.

Nighty Nighers, Friends! Hope you are all well!

Wow, sounds like my day yesterday. I left my company car at home and did a customer visit for work on my ST1100 yesterday, which based on one weather forecast seemed like a "fine" idea, but the reality was somewhat different, as I ended up riding nearly 700km through drizzle on slippery roads. Good fun, but man was I exhausted at then end of it. Didn't help that I (willingly) chose an extremely long way home through 100% twisty hilly roads.

I've owned my ST1100 for 2 years now and covered 30,000km in that time, plus another 11,000km on the VTR and VFR.

Hmm There seems to be an unrecorded link between me getting my motorbikes out from Winter hibernation and forecast weather changing from cold and clear to wet and windy. So it looks like today is yet another tipping down rain day :(

Terry, I would think somethimg amiss if you didn't choose the extremely long 100% twisty way home.

    The map looks amazing....

Skimad, hope it happens soon for you.

Looks like we are all in the same up and down boat. We need Spring to really be spring. I don't know about you all, but I'm too ansty for riding to happen when I want. Not when weather dictates.

Maybe I just get out and pretend I didn't see the forecast... like snow here Saturday.

It’s like winter is really mad and keeps storming out of the room and then coming back and yelling “And another thing!”

Well, in regards to finishing this thread and getting my groove back into other threads on the site...

    It won't happen tonight.

No way I'm typing up this trip on a cell phone. I can reply on mobile, but lately when logging in on my laptop I cannot get a reply box to appear.

I can add a photo or two for now until then...

Hope some of you get to ride this weekend!

Dam, at least I can see the road now! Has been a very long winter, after having no Fall. Hopefully this'll mean that we'll get a hot and dry Summer.
@Terry Smith: Hard to have ANY sympathy for your plight! On Friday night it was -25 C(-13F) here, or -30C(-22F) with the wind chill!

Wasn't expecting any sympathy Glenn. I get to ride year round! This was my rest stop yesterday.

We’re having the opposite problem here, if you can call it a problem.
    Summer will just not end.
It’s supposed to be autumn and we’re still getting 35*C days and so sunny it’s annoying.
I think we’ve had 4 days of rain since Xmas.
