+ on the Knight Designs peg lowers
+ on the Moto Pumps risers (I've got the .6", work great)
+ on the Telferizer - mounted my Garmin Zumo 396 with it, works great
    + Original Grip Buddies
    also:
Mini OZ-USA amber fog lights - hardwired to aux fuse
    SAE battery tender receptacle

    Considering buying the OEM cases..

The ram mount is a bunch of attachments so I can get it where I want it I forget which model number they are but I got everything off amazon and even extra stuff I don’t need. Stuff isn’t cheap tho but works great. I had to get the larger one because my phone is a plus size.
The horn I got off revzilla Denali sound bomb split unit. And my aux lights are also Denali [IMG]

Do it! You will be glad you bit the bullet and did. They work with the bike very well.

I was going to say, in all honesty no snarkiness, save some money and trade in for a Deluxe before dropping all that cash on a long-term bike. Looks like you already got started though!

I agree, plus not going to put a $1k phone out in the open.

I think we are close in age. I agree with you about letting it distract me while riding. I was thinking about using it while stopped instead of digging into my bags. I do hate distracted drivers and yes it would quadruple on a bike.

Wow you paid a 1k for a phone. I am using a older iPhone SE. ;-) My eyes are to bad to see it until I pull out the readers so I guess you both make a point as I am thinking and typing. I have to stop, I have to pull out the glasses so why not keep the phone in the bag!;-) This is why we have this forum. It makes you say Hmmm...;-) so why did we have map slots on top of our tank bags? You have to look down while stopped or some riding back in the day. I could say that even a comm system for music is distracting to me while riding. I have tried it on this last trip and found it somewhat of a annoyance.

I think back to the '80s when I took trips and used good old fashion map on my tank bag. Once I visualize where we are going, generally don't have a problem. GPS is great when you have to drill down to a specific address or navigate a residential neighborhood. I will pull out my phone and get a mental image of where I have to go. I have been fortunate to have Apple stock in my IRA which has more than covered my phone, I like to support the company I invest in and I invest in the company that makes great products. No distractions when I ride, I will listen to music in the car but not on the motorcycle or bicycle.

I know what you are saying and I agree. I am not telling what to buy or how much to spend. I was making fun of my own finances. Sorry If you took it that way. I was being sarcastic phones are crazy expensive. I have a checking account of $35.:) I always look at any advice from the group and yourself. Have a good one.

    On the xgrip style mounts...

I use my daily with my phone now, with Bluetooth in the helmet and turn by turn audio directions. Commuting in NYC means traffic changes every few minutes, so my route to work needs to adapt in the fly.

I use a cheap one from aliexpress... About 12$ shipped and arrives in 10-12 days.

I've hit a good number of potholes now and it hasn't budged. Other than rain, I would trust it to hold my phone on a long trip as well now.

I have a 2004 vfr, and I mounted a ram ball on the 2 bolts that hold the tank in the front, just behind the steering stem. Excellent fit and location, almost like it was designed to be there!
