Another cynical, pointless, negative, inflated egotistical remark from someone ruined by California. Get a life. Riding a VFR and telling us about it might do YOU some good. I don't think you even have a motorcycle. Try living somewhere besides under a bridge. It's obvious you know nothing first hand about the South but are an expert in everything in your own mind. I can't imagine you living with a woman. You'd be rejected by any of them. If you can't say anything positive, then shut the fuck up. Have a nice day.

The reason why someone would attack you will deadly force must matter. While you're trying to figure it out, you get killed. I don't care why anyone would attack me with deadly force. I will defend myself with deadly force and can do so by law. But really, the law doesn't matter when my life is on the line. I'll do what's best for me while some people try to figure out what's going on or get killed while they look up the law on their cell phone.

Exactly, I am speculating since there are so few known facts. So are you since you weren't there either. Sheep? Wolf? Sheepdog? WTH are you talking about? Ah, so we need to take the law into our own hands? Not a good idea, there are laws for a reason. Anarchy rarely works.

Too bad life isn't just as simple as black and white, all those nasty shades of gray. Yeah, I'm done with this, just a waste of

I am so glad you finally acknowledge she was in the right. There are not only state self-defense laws, which she obeyed, there is also God given and natural born laws of self-defense (Oh my, I'm sure that word 'God' will give you more incentive to post!). And, finally the law of that state concluded she was within her right and justified to shoot. You can 'if this and if that' until you are blue in the face, but the facts are and evidence is, she was justified and cleared in her rightful defense by the laws of her state. If you have evidence to the contrary, you should present that to the prosecutor, rather than playing a guessing game here. But everyone has an opinion, which they are free to express!

Me too. I moved into a new place so I didn't have internet so I grabbed my Unforgiven DVD and re-watched it for probably the 20th time. It's still good. I heard there is a new western coming out so I'm hoping to go watch it. If I was going to own a pistol, it'd be something that would look right in Unforgiven. It won't be a Schofield, though. :)

How about something like this......a little tough to conceal carry, but can still take care of business!

You don't have to conceal them in many states. No permit required to open carry in my state. Almost nobody does it though. The concealed carrier is who I want to be around.

No open carry in my state, but a concealed carry permit is reasonably easy to acquire. CC class, finger print back ground check, fees, form filings with local sheriff, photo, etc. Almost all the guys I ride with (adv riders to tourers to track guys) almost always carry, and always when riding alone. Of course we don't frequent biker bars, or bars at all when riding (and carrying in a bar is not permitted)... reasonable laws followed by reasonable citizens are a good thing..

Your state doesn't have reasonable laws other than a background check which should only include looking for felonly convictions and diagnosed mental illness. The 2nd amendment covers all the rest of it but some LE doesn't like that. Some LE encourages carrying because they admit they can't adequately protect us at a moments notice. That's just realty.

No permit required in Arizona to open carry or concealed carry. In my area, many open carry, in the metro areas concealed carry is more popular. I do both, sometimes at the same time! Some bars permit concealed (with a permit), and others don't. Although a CWP (Concealed Weapon Permit) is not required in Arizona, they still offer it for those who want it for other states, or for the 1 exception to carry in bars, which still requires a CWP, firearm must remained concealed and no drinking. I carry while riding, sometimes on my person, other times on the bike.
