So I had brake fluid seeping from SMC, have re-built it: https://vfrworld.com/threads/brake-fluid-seeping-from-smc.55903/

Question is, when I apply rear brake can hear piston sound coming from SMC area, is it normal?

Also, once I push the snap ring(circlip) back in place for connecting rod, how can I ensure it has been seated properly and have been pushed all the way in?

Circlip was not locked properly, because of which it was leaking pressure and making noise.

For me, it was a royal pain to install it, is there a special trick to install and push down on the circlip?
