I don't think he raced at Mazda Raceway in MotoGP, believe it was only San Marino and Aragon, subbing for Casey in 2012. At least I can't remember it and I might even have the t-shirt in my closet. But I have been wrong before.

The guy who did that video has a few other videos that are pretty good. The first one I saw of his was this one...

Casey is really unpopular here in the UK,do not understand why, if he has a whinge it is generally for a reason and he does not like the PR stuff which I could understand and not everyone is a PR genius like Rossi but I think he did the right thing by retiring at the top, no bad injuries and he has a beautiful wife and a young family and he can afford to do exactly what he wants, lucky man!

The guy made a name for himself racing the Ducati during the darkest days of the Felippo Preziosi era. He will always be known as the only guy capable of winning on the Ducati, prior to the Gigi Dall'Igna era. Even the Omnipotent Rossi had his career derailed by those machines, broke his spirit, never to be the same. He will remain the only rider to win multiple championships with multiple manufacturers, with one of the teams being the Ducati. 'Nough said.

Good news except Kyonari is past his best, past few years in BSB have seen him the low teens most races

He was on the ball in 2015 but has lost his mojo now, unfortunate as Camier is just coming into his own and could use a better team mate,

Honda have left it so late that the natural choice of Jason O'Hallorn is already signed for next years BSB

Kyonari hasn’t raced in ten years

I'm looking at this from a completely different angle, might not be the right one, but I'll throw it out there. I do believe Honda is working on a machine to replace the CBR, I also believe they have Kiyonari there to try and make sense of a development direction and not necessarily for race wins. Just a hunch, maam, only a hunch. I believe there is more to this than meets the eye.

Might be right Norcal, but I think it will be a V4 and not a CBR. Big Red moves very slow.

the CBR will be 50 years old and Honda will still be redoing the graphics. They won't sell too many V4's in Asia, hence, I would be amused if it ever happened. Too busy building 125cc Dakar replica's to get serious about superbikes. The market is basically dead.

Yep, the bean counters are in control. Little bikes rule. Sell millions, make billions. I still hope the giant red wheel will one day roll out a high output V4. I love my all-around VFR's V4 but there is SO much more potential with that platform.
HRC seems to have kind of crapped on Ten Kate by going with Moriwaki in WSBK. I understand the money end but seems like a shit thing to do.

Ten Kate did the best they could, which was pretty decent IMO. The fact that Honda decided to go a different direction is a pretty common thing in racing, if it isn't teams switching manufacturers, it's manufacturers switching alliances with teams. They needed to do something drastic, if you're gonna make a major change of direction, it's best to get it out of the way in one painful swoop and get on with it. The abilities of HRC to build race and championship winning machines and solid factory teams will be legendary for years to come.

I think Ten Kate did a very good job, would like to see what they could have done with full HRC support. They did well for doing it on "the cheap".

Probably not much more than they did, if you were to consider Stoner's, Martin's, and McGuinnes' performances with said support. The base platform is the issue and it looks like they are finally going to address that.

Tito Rabat will test his new GP18 at the Valencia test. He was having his best MotoGP season until the British GP, good to see him back after such a nasty off and subsequent injuries. Great news for Tito and amazing he came back from those major breaks in 2 months.

These riders are in excellent physical shape but how the heck do they heal so quickly? Oxygen chambers and T cell injections?

It's amazing what health care can really do these days, if you have the money to pay for it. :Lever:

If I remember correctly it was NBA players that were flying to Germany to get T cell tech done to them for rapid recovery. Using your own T cells seems to work on a lot of athletes.

Does anyone know if they are planning on removing Laguna Seca from the WSBK calendar or are they just having a last minute negotiation delay?
