    hi guys, i've just bought a rc46, and it takes 9 litres/ 100km. is it nomal to a rc46?

and he took many sensors out from the front of the bike. the wire is a whole bunch of messing things. is "rewiring" complicated???
the fuel tank is smaller than the OEM, it's only 10 litres capable now. is there someways to fold a oem rc46 fuel tank to a ducati tank? just the outlook maybe??

Great looking bike, I bet that confuses a few poeple.

9L/100km is pretty low but might depend how you ride. I see more like 6-7L/100km, less at steady speed on a motorway. The FI system does need a full set of sensors connected (inlet air temp, manifold pressure, ambient pressure, coolant temperature) plus the vacuum hose to the fuel pressure regulator.

no, i bought it cuz i love the engine sound and it cheap. in my city, there is no vfr800 else. maybe i will make my bike to the oem state soon. i'm considering order full used wires and sensors from ebay to fold into my bike. the hose below the fuel still good, i think it lacks of inlet air temp, manifold pressure, ambient pressure. my fan doesnot work automatically somehow. thank you terry

Its totally down to how you drive - my work commute I get 120-130 miles a tank - 20 / 21 litres. This is consistant throughout the year but the throttle is always on / off - lol
On a run I can get 220 miles @ 80mph without thinking about it - but I hate driving like this... lol
Do a 50 mile run on a motorway & fill up & check.
Driving in town, stop start traffic uses fuel.. lots

The fan is independent of the FI system and runs off a temperature switch mounted to the radiator, usually switches on at 100C or thereabouts. Given where you live, I'd imagine it gets pretty hot pretty often.

My guess is without the rest of the sensors in place, your bike is running in default "limp-home" mode; running, but not ideal.
