    Gasp, what are you saying???
He might be on a zimmer frame, but the bloke can still ride.
He would have a chance if he rode anything but a Ducati. (and on a track in Bulgaria during Orthodox Good Friday).
He's actually doing OK here in Oz Superbikes, makes it sound bad for the rest of the field I know.

WSBK to return to Laguna Seca in July 2019

The WSBK round in July is now set to be held at the coastal circuit, although it currently looks like Supersport and 300 classes will skip the round

MotoAmerica website shows Laguna Seca July 12th-14th, so looks like they are.

How do you think the new Duc will do? I have not kept up with any of the testing.

Rea is still the point on the spear, but it's early days for the Duc. I just have a hunch that it will be Alvaro that tops the Ducati team results at the end. It's going to suck for Chaz if it happens......Not sure if Ducati will win the Championship overall, but stranger things have happened...Ben Spies as an example...

I think Rea would be a consistent top 5 rider with podiums in MotoGP, if he was on the current Suzuki, but I doubt we will ever find out. Honda management sealed his fate. He stayed with them too long, beating himself to death with the blade.

I will be watching him with my wife at the opening round at Silverstone, at least he he knows the track it will be a bit different when he gets to tracks like Knock Hill in Scotland, it is more like a Mini Moto type track, I think the bikes are too fast for some of the tracks used for BSB but I assume their must be tracks in America that are border line for the US series

You obviously haven’t been to Aberdare Park ...

John McGuiness was there in 2016 on a borrowed Aprillia, didn’t ever get into 4th gear

Rea did waste a lot of time on that Honda. But perhaps riding that thing at 110% on the verge of crashing gave him the skills to his domination on the Kawi. I really would have like to see him in GP. Oh well.

Exactly. He probably got on the Kawasaki at his first test and thought it was like cheating. It's hard to argue with 56 race wins and 4 championships, since leaving Honda and getting on the green machine. The thing with top echelon racing, it really is a team sport. Rea, Pere Riba, and Kawasaki, seem to have that perfect combination. Very similar to Marquez, Santee Hernandez, and Honda or Rossi and Burgess, Honda and Yamaha / Doohan, Burgess, and Honda.
