    Hello to all.

I need some concious advice: Is it wise to fit a Kawasaki H1 Mach 3 500 to a uni-cycle? Is it fraught with danger ( I quite like danger mind) and liable to cause injury and distress?

Hi Saul. If you can make it work, it would make for an amazing ride! I believe injury and distress will be exponential with your setup. Hopefully it won't hurt very long before you leave this mortal coil. Make sure your life insurance is paid up so the loved ones left behind will be taken care of. Also, make sure to make a video record of this feat as you will surely go down in history as the H1 unicycle guy.
    P.S. DON'T DO IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi ONe Ida, I think you agree it is a pleasant, though insane, idea. I think brakes would be tricky and a hand held throttle unique. Sadly, my so-called-loved-ones wouldn't miss me much, or at least that's how I perceive it to be. It certainly turn a few heads skimming the tarmac at warp speed in some demonic pose devised for balance and comfort. I could use the frame to hold the fuel, but brakes aye! I think it's a possibility and worthy of repect. I think I'll just dream on...

By "uni-cycle" are you referring to a one wheel arrangement that you sit on and pedal? Or are
you planning on something else that you're referring to as a "uni-cycle"? Sometimes definitions
can be rather fluid. Perhaps you're thinking of one of those deals with the motor in the middle
of a wheel, aka a "monowheel".

Good evening or in Welsh Noswaith Dda. I didn't make it plain did I to what I mean by a Unicycle, I've left the dash out this time. I mean as used by circus people and performers, the saddle on a pole connected to a single wheel, and mounting somewhere on the contraption a Kawasaki H1 Mach 3 500 engine. Good idea init? I thinks it's adds a new flavour to wheelying as you are already on one wheel. The exhausts would have to join into one down pipe, litterally down parallel to the main upright strut with the seat on it. It would blast debris from the road surface for sure.

You are not a young man. The only explanation for you to come up with this idea is that your overall life experience is lacking. Wisdom typically comes with the trial and errors of life. So if you need wisdom, this is an oportunity for trial and error. GO FOR IT !!!!

ps a video of the maiden voyage is nessisary. Thank you.

Flying Coffin engine? I would highly recommend upgrading the braking system too - maybe some Brembos!

Hi Rll... No, you are correct in saying that I am not a " YOung Man" but it doesn't mean I'm old, just getting on in ears as they grow with the years. I drag my ears along side me when I'm walking and on windy days do some serious gliding. But I digress, and digest, your comment so peacefully typed not a finger nail scratched or a key marked. There's no fool like an old fool some arrogant sod said as he counted his rupees. I've had thoughts about the engine and decide it would be better with a Honda CBX 1000 engine, those six pistons giving it some.

I agree with the thread title. The OP would, indeed, appear to need wisdom.

Hi There Laker, yes, you have a point; the handling of the 2 stroke Kawa 500 left a little to be desired, bit of a death machine if you hit the power band on a bend. Great bike though: Iconic.

Might I suggest a full Ohlins suspension, you want it to handle well too.
