I'll be changing the fork seals on my '99 in the next couple of weeks. The right side weeps a little. I have Racetech Gold Valves on them. Is there anything different with those installed as opposed to not having them?

Have you tried a seal sweep before you take everything apart?

It's been at least 4 years since the last oil change. I'm thinking it's time for a complete flush and clean.

The presence of the Gold Valves makes no difference; they will be hiding inside the cartridge which you are unlikely to open up. Even then, the GVs just replace stock parts but have the same configuration.
