I have no idea, but that says cbr on the fairing, just thought it was bizarre. I had noticed it awhile ago.

This is from a friend of Cam's that was at the race talking about the Kawi/Honda confusion.
"That info must be old from last year, I will have to tell him to get that updated. He for sure is on a 2018 CBR500R."

You know it's kinda quiet in the racing world when we are struggling to find discussion matter besides poor Cameron's ride of choice and how they are listing what he's riding.

Rea does it again .....so does Bautista

I’ve watched the first few laps carefully and it looks like JR is not really flat out, Davies gets in front and is comfortably passed, so they go a bit faster ...then Bautista slides off ...job done

Great to see Toprak finally cross the line first, a well deserved win in Race 1

Sykes now has the speed but not the brakes, well for Race 1 anyway

    Davies falling off .... again

Since this the post with spoilers, have to say Kudos to Rae for obtaining his 5th crown! Didn’t look like it was going his way at the beginning of the season but with the bad luck Bautista is having and Rae’s consistency, things sure did turn around. As for WSBK, Rae sure has set the bar high, going to be tough to topple his records.

Well, end of a solid run. Rae lost his WSBK title to Toprak this weekend. Have to say it was great to see someone really make Rae fight for the title good and proper. Congratulations Toprak.

It's hard to say that any of the other years there was nobody making him "fight". But I kinda get what you are saying.

Remember when Rea was riding the Honda at 120%?! As soon as he got on the Kawasaki his skill really paid off. Same machine as Sykes and he swatted him aside quickly.

It still believe that JR is somewhat underrated as a rider. That sounds odd, given his championship streak, but he tends to fly under the radar.

I’ve been a fan of his since his Honda days. He did not ride it like Stoner on the Ducati which looked like a crash ready to happen in every corner but he had to tide the wheels off it to be competitive. Then on the green machine he looked incredibly smooth. He did a few GP rides as a sub. Once in Laguna he finished mid pack. Always wondered how he would have done with a factory ride.
