    Hi,
i wonder if anyone have changed the rear wheel sprocket bearing, the one in the sprocketholder that is.

I bought one with the dimensions from for exampe bikebandit who says the size is 35X55X10.

So i removed the sprocketholder to change it and noticed that its the wrong size, the bearing in sprocketholder is 35X55X20, and its not like in the swingarm where there is 2 bearings side by side.

    Any thougt on this?

    Thanks

Sounds like Bikebandit had either wrong or outdated info. It would be best to find the correct size bearing. Many times when you go to the parts fiche and click on the item, it will give its dimensions, however since you have the hub apart and can see the actual bearing that is in there, get the number off of that and find a match online.

I’ve been buying bearings from this place and have had good luck finding most of what I need. They also have quality bearing makers to boot. Koyo, SKF, Nachi, NSK, just to name a few.

If there’s a part # on the bearing it will be the manufacturers reference

Wheel bearings are pretty generic across all motorcycles, as long as you get double lip sealed there’s not a lot of difference in brands, particularly as I’ve seen big boxes of SKF from China that had nothing on the individual packs ...

Just curious, if you've not removed it, how do you know what size it actually is? And you can't see the spec numbers?

I used to change the rear sprocket bearings. At that time, the gears were broken because of the bumpy road. I went to the garage to fix the car. The mechanic said that the gears needed to be changed. He recommended some brands, but I personally found some, does that look right to you? 3205 A-2Z/C3. I don't know if it's been used. How's it look? The axial load bearing capacity of angular contact ball bearings increases with the increase of the contact angle α. The contact angle is the angle between the line connecting the contact points of the ball and the raceway in the radial plane and a line perpendicular to the bearing axis. https://en.tradebearings.com/3205_A_2Z_C3-393984.html Anyone know anything about this? Let's talk about it!

Agree with you, something is horribly wrong with the dimensional spec.

Honda OEM Number is 91061-MT4-003 and states the bearing dimensions are 35x55x10. However the picture of the bearing clearly looks like a 35x55x20 !! And you have confirmed a single 20mm width bearing in the hub housing.

And to add further confusion another supplier claims that two of the 35x55x10 are required! Yet the parts list for the bearing states Qty of 1.
    VERY CONFUSING!

OMG, you bought the wrong type of bearing, or replace it quickly, although everyone recommends a good website, I prefer this one: https://en.tradebearings.com/ or global site: https://www.tradebearings.com/
In any case, working with motorcycle bearings and components is crucial for safety and proper functioning.
