    Hey folks.

I just bought this 1995 Honda vfr 750 and within a couple minutes dropped it on it's side. After cussing profusely and picking it back up, I noticed this small circular piece laying on the ground. I for the life of me can't figure out where exactly it came from. I included some pictures. Any help would be appreciated. It's made out of metal and I dropped it gently and gracefully on its right side.

    Thanks!

No clue here sorry. But my guess is that it is a piece that is used to secure the fairing or tank that has been dropped into the engine V during some previous maintenance. From the wear on it, it has probably been there for a long time, and only surfaced when you laid the bike over. Put it in a safe place and one day when you are doing maintenance you'll probably figure out where it belongs, but in the meantime don't worry.

Good luck remembering where you put it. :D

pretty sure it's a spacer/washer from the middle mounts on the tail section fairing, with 12mm bolts.

upload_2019-10-8_22-49-3.png I'm guessing #12; only because my 8th gen has a similar part on my seat that pops off every time I pull it. Nothing like passing a little time at work(Nights).

I think I got it! I closely inspected under the seat and came across a second one that was chilling near the battery. I looked at a couple diagrams that we're provided by you all and then inspected the seat area further. Basically my hypothesis is in a couple of YouTube videos i noticed that some vfr's had what looked like passenger handle bars on the sides that appeared to be held in by bolts and underneath was most likely these spacers that for some reason is no longer held in by bolts. I did notice that there was threads near the bottom of these channels though.

Thank you so much everyone for your help on this issue.
