Hallo guys, I'm buiding a special bike on the vf400f base and am planning to fit the vf500f fuel pump, but I'm in the dark about how it actually works. Is there any return line to the fuel tank due to the the excessive amount of fuel eventually arriving to the carbs?
    Any help is welcome

The pump senses when pressure is met (which is pretty low) and stops pumping. The fuel cut relay isn't even needed to operate, it's a safety feature.

    Pretty cool start there.

Thanks Captain 80s, is that true for both vf500 and vf1000? I'm going to swap part of the major models wirings IMG_7767.jpg to fit the pump.

Yes. And the 86 VFR too.

500 pumps are probably the most plentiful and a good size/design for packaging.
