Hi I'm new here and I'm getting a weird like plastic burn smell every now and then from the starter side on right. I recently had to replace the regulator and starter and smell is still there. Has anyone ever had this problem? Thanks in advance. Its 03 vfr vtec

For the 6th gen bikes, look at your stator connector. They are infamous for burning up. The generally agreed upon fix for this is to eliminate the connector and solder the wires instead. That issue seems to be specific to the 6th gens only though from what I recall.

If it says Honda on the tank, chances are the connector will melt eventually...
