Hi, everyone. I did a quick search here but didn't see any dyno charts for the 8th Gen. Anyone willing to share?

Edit: The reason I am asking is I have read comments that the 8th Gen has more low-end and midrange torque than the 6th Gen, but I have never seen actual dyno charts showing any appreciable difference.

Don't have a chart, have never seen one either. I have noticed that people aren't modifying and tweaking them to the extent that people did with the earlier models, then again, I haven't really looked much outside of this site. That's usually when charts start showing up. It's only my gut feeling, but I doubt it's any different than it always has been. It could be someone coming off an older, used, moto and just wanting to believe it's a noticeable change, when really it's not. The mind and the butt dyno have never really been very accurate in determining what is a gain, and what isn't.

There are some floating about with Silencer changes think they are on the "other site"

I put my 2014 on the dyno today. With a 13.5” delkevic tri oval slip on and the rest is bone stock. Got 93-94 horsies and 50 foot pounds of torque. Here’s the screen read out

I believe I have some before and after Dynojet charts for 5, 6 & 8 Gens. These are some before and after charts done for the performance headers that we had built.

Found them. For all three, these were slightly modified bikes for the initial before runs. At a minimum, they all had an aftermarket air filter (K&N), the 5 / 6 Gens had aftermarket/modified exhaust cans (Respectively). My recollection is the 8 Gen may have had an Yoshimura can at the time but I wasn't present at that Dyno Run. All three bikes had a Power Commander and the baseline "before" was done with a "zero" map.

This is the 8 Gen (2014) chart with the comparison of stock versus after with the new headers.

This is the same but for a 6 Gen (2002).

    And for a 5 Gen (2001).

Looks like the 8th still has the vtec dip to 6500 rpm....

Just from my experience with multiple dyno runs with a stock 6g, those are probably the most honest numbers I've seen posted. Whoever was operating that dyno wasn't trying to pad the numbers, they should be commended for their integrity.

It only shows hp (not torque that you’re inquiring about) but FWIW here’s one from the Delkevic website where they compare stock muffler to the Delk 8” mini carbon muffler.

yea local guy close to me in san diego. i only dynoed the bike cause the delkevic paperwork said it wasnt necessary to do that but it would be wise to check the air fuel ratio to play it safe. i made it clear to the guy im not worried about making more power as the bike makes more power than what i need for my style of riding. he normally works on bmws. he mentioned that if i really wanted to i could spend the money on a PCV and auto tuner and he could smooth out the vtec transition a bit and get more power but probably would cost 1200-1400 bucks between the commander and the time on the dyno.
