You Know You're Getting Old When:

First nap, or second nap? It happens....... ZZZZzzzzzzzzzzz

 

When you need reading glasses to see what is that that fell on the floor when I took my boots off.
Another reason for ATTGATT. Eeek. I buried it at sea. Flush.

 

Hell. I get up in the morning, brew a pot and pour a cup then a quick piece of toast, and peanut butter to keep me regular, and it is off to the recliner for the first of many.

You know you're getting old when you no longer can wait for the next TV commercial before you have to run to the can to pee.

 

It's not a big deal unless you pee on your shoe. And that's recording devices are for...

 

Or pee your pants!

 

Depending on what show is on, that is an option I guess.

 

You know you're getting old when after you pull up your pants in the morning when you are getting dressed for the day, you discover you have both legs through the same hole...again.

Or when you do, you don't realize it until your wife natters at you as you are complaining while you are trying to climb into the driver's seat of your truck when going out first thing.

 

YOu know you're getting old when you are caught with a nose piercing while wearing bifocals. Or when the bald spot on your head interferes with the spiking gel in your hair.

 

YOu know you're getting old when you can't find a pair of Depends that nicely fit under your thong.

 

You know you're getting old when....

You can't pass a bathroom and you can't trust a fart.

Had an Aunt that told me that.

 

You know you're getting old when you need a hair blower to dry your nasal hairs after a shower.

 

You know you're getting old when you sell your tricked out CBR 1000RR track bike................. Think mine is sold.

 

I guess that is a good thing or you wouldn't have listed it for sale. Hope you got what you wanted for it. I should sell one of mine. Just don't know what one. I won't get much for the VFR and really don't want to sell it. And I will take a bath on the Twin because I bought it brand new. Oh the hell of it all!

 

You know you are getting old when you retire and move to a new county.

But there are lots of people here that looks way older than me. So I guess I'm OK with it.
Moving is tough, but not going to work anymore rocks.

 

As you know bikes can become very personal to some people. When I sold my RD 350 it was hard. When I sold one of the CR 250's I had it was no big deal. The CBR is one of those special bikes, I did every modification on it and spent years dialing it in at the track with help from guys that know a lot more than me about suspension and hauling the mail. Countless laps at awesome tracks around the country with great friends and good times. Most of the guys I tracked with are out of the game or live far away and my local track closed. Add in covid and I have not been on the track for years and only rode it to keep it fresh. It has every top upgrade you can do to it.

 

I guess I'm officially old, sold the CBR yesterday.
