    Where are you sourcing the shock? I need a shock but just don't want to fork over a lot of dough for this old bike.

    I keep hoping I'll run across one of the CBR shocks that was modified, or some less expensive alternative. Don't think it's going to happen.

    Works great
    Daugherty did it for me about 10 years ago

    I contacted DMr. He doesn't do the modified CBR shocks anymore. Just has his own line and they are like $800

    I asked him about those on a FB group, stated that was 'a temp. solution while we finished development of BD40 shocks'.
