We got a "Random Photos" thread.....why not one for videos? :)

I'll start with this one I just ran across. Guy is selling his '87 and aside from low level audio all is going OK until he tries to put it in neutral....lol....freaking hilarious!

    I mean we've all BTDT.....:D

After about a year off.....I've started back in on some fairing repairs. Lot of different approaches on how to do these repairs.

Polyvance has put out quite a few "how to" videos which demonstrate the use of their PlastiFix repair product.

Here is one I thought to be pretty informative:

Stupid short vid. Deception Pass on the North end of Whidbey Island. Here's a couple pics of what it looks like. Also, the VF1000R sounds like a damn tractor in the audio.

Short clip from the same weekend. Normally going the other direction down towards the beach, it flows a little better that way. Couple sections you can boogie pretty good with no driveways and hope for no deer. I'm fairly tame most of the road. Bike still sounds like shit on the audio.

Shadowing my buddy on his ST1100 on the way down to Possession Point. He "goons" around the corner our friend crashed his CA160 on a small bike ride last year. Leaned it over pretty good and the footpeg bar touched down and levered him of his tires. No damage except his pride.

    Thanks, Capt - cool vids!

May I ask how long you have lived in that area and of those how long you've been riding there?

Deception Pass looks like a very popular destination spot for many visitors. Was that video taken on a weekend and that's why it was so crowded?

    Thanks!

A little ride up a favourite twisty road on my first 5th gen a few years ago. Sadly, due to "progress' this is now reduced to a 60km/hr zone...

Here's what riding an ST1100 is like, the road from Coromandel heading towards Whitianga is one of the best roads within a days' ride of home.

Gear driven cams for the win! 5th gen heading over the hill near Kawakawa Bay. Another formerly 100km/hr road that the safety nazis have decreed can only be traversed at 60km/hr now.

A couple days ago turn 6 at Blackhawk Farms. I have a bunch of short videos from Noiseless Productions I need to figure out what to do with. My GoPro has been trash and hasn't recorded more than 8 usable minutes the last two ASRA weekends. My buddies painted and designed a decal set for me that matches the team colors of our bikes. Was a bit weird not rolling around with the biggest trashpile set of fairings in the entire paddock for a change.

yes, yes, i know... get off the bike more and move to the side before turn in. I'm working on it. Slow motion video just reemphasizes the importance.

It was a weekend day and it is a popular spot. And it's not even "school's out" Summer yet. It gets busier and we usually avoid it. But it was part of a great loop that day, culminating in the back roads on the South end of the island.

I have lived in the North Seattle area my whole life and have ridden Whidbey Island many times, but the South end I really started exploring and getting familiar with about 5+ years ago or so, refining a route for our Tiddlers. 50cc to 150cc.

I call the ride "The Whiddler Tour".

Sweet vids dudes! Terry, there are some really fun roads in your country. I thoroughly enjoyed driving them, but I would have rather been riding them. :)
