My 86 is coming along nicely.

    Tank is clean and ready.
Carbs were completely disassembled, gone through and rebuilt. I also went with new #40 pilot jets.
New fuel filter, fuel lines, fuel pump, and petcock.
Front brake master cylinder rebuilt. Both front calipers completely rebuilt including new pistons (weren't needed but replaced anyway).
Rear master cylinder rebuilt. Rear caliper rebuilt including new pistons (old ones were still usable but went with new)
New EBC sintered pads front and rear
New HEL SS lines front and rear, finished in carbon fiber color.

This coming week I'll be rebuilding the clutch master cylinder, as well as the slave cylinder. A new HEL SS line for that as well.

All rebuild kits were from Brakemasters. I got to tell you; they make some quality stuff.

I still have to perform a coolant flush, install a new thermostat, install new spark plugs, and do an oil change. Then on to a fork rebuild and finally install new tires. Hoping to be finished in a few more weeks. I'll add some pics to my previous thread when I get a little more time to play around on the computer.

I found and purchased (2) new Tour Max Mitsubishi fuel pumps for a ZX Ninja and made the modifications that Joe Nelson suggests. It worked out well and fits in the 86 nicely. I got one for the 87 as well because I know it's only a matter of time before that original one takes a dump. Better to have it ready to go if and when.

The 86 is coming along nicely. It's been stored indoors its entire life. So that has helped with not having to deal with rust or degradation on bolts or mated parts. It's been an enjoyable process so far. I'm looking forward to having it back in top form again.
