I have 3 of these RC24's.

Mileage on each: 6,960, 26,000, 85,706

I'd like to keep one and sell the other two.

Especially after seeing this auction result!

Mine will have fresh tires, a fuel tank in VG condition, complete with all fairings, and all components working well.

None are currently running but I have everything needed to bring them back. Just need to put in the time.

I may end up keeping the 85,706 mileage one. That's nothing for these bikes, as we all know.

If I could get half of what this one brought I would be doing good, I think.

I get it. The AGE / DISPOSABLE INCOME / NOSTALGIA graph intersects on many things like this.

But jesus fucking christ, ruining it for normal people to enjoy what were common, classic Hondas. Because this trickles down to every fucking flipper twat who found a shitty VFR and thinks he has hit pay dirt.

The fact that I have yet to sell ANY of the many bikes I have bought pretty much excludes me of being referred to as a "flipper"...lol...

FWIW....if all things goes as planned I will be setting the world on fire with the balance of necessary restoration work this winter. And...in the "breaking news" category......I'm hoping to get at least a couple bikes on the market!

After I get done addressing my 87, I may inquire about one of your 750's to add to my barn. Won't be for a while though. A 750 is a Bucket list bike that I would actually put miles on.

 

Happy to have a conversation with you when the time comes - but at this point I'm pretty sure the nicest one will be going on an Iconic auction. I'm a ways off from that happening though.

In the meantime, if I see another one that comes up for sale somewhere that looks decent, I will give you a ping.

Not sure if you do FB but there's a few groups on there for our models worth joining - just for the market opportunities, alone.

Some nice modifications ---- plus a center stand!

 

Thanks fellas, I checked them all out. All good candidates.

We had some family medical issues to address in August which put me behind a bit.
First up - finishing the fork rebuild on the 86.
Second up - pulling the suspension out of my Ski-Doo and sending it out to HyGear for shock refresh/rebuilds.
Third up - addressing the 87's fuel system.

That should keep me pretty busy through the Fall months. So possibly over the winter months I could be looking closer for a 750.

 

When the time comes...maybe @sixdog can do another search for you. My Google fu is weak on this one for some reason....lol....
