Accessories for Sale Helibars for 5th gen, calipers, reservoir, steel lines for 3rd gen

Set of HeliBars that were on my 2000 for about a year, fits all fifth gen and pretty sure they will fit a 2007. Instructions included, some scratches, please look at pictures. $250 shipped to your door.

Third gen brake calipers with reservoir and stainless steel lines. Probably need rebuilding. $75 shipped to your door.

 

Does the installation require any changes to wiring or plumbing for switches, brake/clutch lines, etc.? Or are the factory bits long enough to reach without stress?

 

Installation instructions for 5th and 6th gen are on the Helibar website. They say "little to no modifications to cables and hydraulic lines. I bought one of my 6th gen VFR's with helibars already installed and my cables and hydraulic lines are in stock condition. I'm pretty sure the tabs that line up the banjos are still on mine. I will check to make sure tomorrow.

I did see that the bars for the 5th and 6th generations have different part numbers, so jethrocephus might be wrong about the 2007.

 

If you read the instructions, there is a small tab that has to be ground off with a Dremel, it was very easy to do. I’m certain there was an Anniversary bike on line somewhere that had fifth gen Helibars on it, possibly on BaT. In any case, they will fit perfectly on your 2000.
