here is the inside. Not impressive, but 100 times better than when I bought. Nothing was fused and all the grounds were self tapped into the chassis. Added a ground terminal block and fused power terminal block. New oil pressure gauge added and SS line.

we plan on removing that switch box and adding the switches to the front roll bar, but that will be last.

It is a 1987 Si. We are running a semi built 1.5 D15A. I haven't tried to verify internal, supposedly connecting rods, pistons, Hondata tune. Mugen limited slip 5spd trans. It fits into the 1.5l production class. Our goal is to have is completely legit for next SCCA season. Maybe get at least 2 full weekends with my small budget.
If the engine doesn't make it then I will probably keep the chassis and move to a K series swap. Just buy the whole kit and be done. The original builder did a solid job on the chassis so it would be a shame to toss it. IMG_1244.JPG

    NICE! Multiple champ!!

I should have done more research, but I just didn't want to buy a 5digit race vehicle only to find that I would never have enough money to race or support it. The '87 is ancient with little to no support. But we shall see how she goes early next year I hope!

    Just noticed.

HA! That is what I will go with if SCCA is all good. They are very vague with answers and I guess they will just tell me no on race day.
