Ok, it is LEAP DAY...a day that shouldn't really be, an extra day.
Let's have some fun...how about an "ANYTHING GOES thread in the Anything Goes Forum?" No real theme, just chime in with whatever is on your mind...

I'll start...Why do so many of us drive around like we are the only person on the planet? Why do we become so ego-centric? Why is Narcissism so prevalent in our society? Is it mostly good or bad? Or, do you like Maryann or Ginger? (And don't say Mrs. Howell...you'll creep me out!)

I think it is because we feel protected in our cages and so we can let all the worlds frustations out because we think that nobody can get at us for it. I hate it in others but still find I am not much better myself. If you can figure out human nature you are better than me.

Well, the theory goes is that this very thing is what makes us human and successful as a species. Man was sitting around the fire napping flint to make a tool...at first, all we could do was concentrate on one thing--what we were doing. But as our brains evolved, we could do one thing and think of another (such as making the tool and thinking about the previous day's hunt...as we thought back on the hunt, we realized we could have Harry go around the front of the chase and make the kill). This original multi-tasking has made us rise to the top of the heap, evolutionary-speaking. But, we cannot turn it off, we find ourselves submerged in zillions of thoughts as we drive down the road. Before we know it, we are cutting someone off or dropping into the next business and finding it hard to believe they won't drop what they are doing to help us. :blah: :blah: :blah:

Oh, and for me, it is Ginger...she had the sultry, "I'll make your dreams come true" vibe going on.

I'll play.......... Why is Sponge Bob on TV 20 hrs a day, I feel dumber w/ every episode I am forced to endure as I allow the short people residing @ my home to watch what they want to until 7 pm? Why does the demand for my money from others always excede my ability to earn it, even though if you told me 20 yrs ago what I would be earning today I would have dropped over dead? Why do some operators of class 7 & 8 vehicles think they have the right of way just because they can squash you like a bug? All the random thoughts I can muster @ the moment.

Mary Ann as experience has taught me that those that talk or elude to a good game are often out played by the shy but extremely naughty girls next door:xxx:(though I do generally prefer blondes)

MaryAnn! No question about it! I know she would be naughtier than that "prudish" ginger anyday! Plus, she was hotter by far! I bet Mrs.Howell was a freak as well!

Anybody ever see Pamela Anderson "before" she got all the boobs and plastic surgery?? She was hot then, until she funked herself up trying to be like Joan Rivers! Somebody (wasn't it Budweiser) found her at a football game in Canada, and the rest is history!

Today would have been my grandfather's 26th birthday, if he were still around.
If MaryAnne had the red hair...GAME ON

Im not sure it is physically possible to have a 26 year old grandpa and be of moto riding age....

Im mad cause insurance is way too much in RI. I also think that americans need to drop this obsession with train wrecks. I hate how so many people would rather watch a man trip and spill his groceries than stop and help him pick them up.

I wish karma counted for more. I hate politics. I love small government. I really like my girlfreinds hampster that lives at my house even though I pretend not to.

If it doesnt start warming up in the northeast soon, I am going to go bananas.

Im all for global warming. I love the ocean, so more of it is cool. Plus, the reefs are bleaching right now due to overheating, but if we put em under another meter of water, they might be a bit cooler and better off! (that is stupid. what am i thinking)

I want to try my hand at racing motorcycles, but am depressed that even at 25 years old, I am probably too old to be really great at it. I hate being limited.

It's been 7 years since I broke my spine, 6 since I had my left lung welded to me chest wall, 4 since I broke my right femur, 3 since I dislocated my left knee.

    ANYTHING GOES BABYYYYYYY

oh and Stuka and Jev are in a dead heat for best avatar competition...

Had an a large extension ladder fall off of a pick up 1 car in front of me on the Interstate today. Wind from an 18 wheeler blew it off a side rack and onto the Civic directly in front of me. Luckily, when it smashed into the Civic it bounced off to the right and I swerved into the breakdown lane on the left. I didn’t even get a chance to slow down much. I’ll have to check the news later to see how much carnage ensued. Those of you who brave the commute in a bigger city know how one little thing turns into a traffic nightmare quickly. Anyway, good thing it was a leap day or who knows what could have happened.

NeverlosT: you have the right idea! Let it all out!

(And KARMA DOES COUNT FOR MORE! It WILL catch up to us all)

And many of us think that at 25, you have your ENTIRE life in front of you. Don't waste a day, LEAP into action!

No Ginger, no Maryann. I was saving myself for Raquel Welch. Oh, well...

    Obviously, she didn't know.

You can take Salem out of the country but....
I believe it is our manifest destiny to move the VFRworld foward, in a positive direction to advance the state of the art so that our children, who are each points of light, can find a place in a better VFRworld across the bridge to the future highway as we seek to unite - not divide - the motocycle community with V4 power for all of our two wheeled citizens.

    Exit, Stage left!

May I mamoo dogface to the banana plant? Grampa bought a rubber...

Jane! Jane! stop this crazy thing!

    Is Sarah Connor here?

The quick brown fox jumped over the bridge to the future and into river and through the woods to grandmother's house.

I can eat 60 hard boiled eggs in and hour.

Speed, Spridle, Chim-chim... AAAAAaaaaahhhhhh (Trixie going over cliff)

You always get your way, at Ourisman Chevrolet.
