What is it wth these tards that think they are the only ones on the road. You want to show me what a good driver you are, try staying in your lane. Make's you want to grab this guy by his n*ts, nail them to a tree stump and push him over backwards:biggrin:

The photographer Killboy has been known to take down plate numbers and hand them to the authorities, as well as post photos as a 'wall of shame' kinda deal. He's not pro biker or pro cager, just pro twisty.
Maybe someone could open a twisty theme park. miles and miles of closed roads. everyone takes turns. alternate car days and bike days. even if they only charged 10 bucks a day(unlimited rides) I bet it would pay off. Anyone have a couple dozen miles of land they want to donate-I'll pay you back...

Where I come from,we can only DREAM of roads like this.
It would be the thrill of my life to carve those corners.
Wether riding a bike or driving a sports car,why the hell would anyone want to fu** up these glorious curves by straightening them out with such a wussy line???

A guy I used to ride with when I moved to DE has been their 5-6 times before he sold his FZ.

Eddie had pics and just went on and on about how much I would love the Dragon, but he always had stories about people not staying in their lanes and one time somebody had dumped oil or antifreeze on one of the corners late on a Friday night. Well, Eddies stories and looking at pics on Killboy has me a bit hesitant to ride the Dragon.

I'll do it someday, but it ain't on the top of my list.

The Dragon is a cool place to ride, but it is only one road in the area, which is covered with other great roads. I enjoy the store at the bottom of the mtn on the NC side. They have good food, and you'll see every kind of bike you can dream of. I go there a couple times a year just to check it out, but there are so many other places to go nearby. If you find yourself in the area, let me know and I'll show you some of the lesser known places which will have less traffic, fewer LEO's and better views.

The way I see it, the Dragon could be a dying beast. I go to NC twice a year for vacation. I go because I'm feeling the place out for a place to retire. When I travel to NC, I usually go for 5-7 days. I ride the Dragon for 1/2 of one of those days & then go off to other roads. I love riding the Dragon, it still provides me a thrill every time I go. Now, why do I only ride the Dragon for a 1/2 day you ask? Simple, I'm not putting up with the scum bag TN cops that patrol the Dragon. They have a road that is known the world over as a motoring haven. I've met a guy from Denmark that travelled to the USofA just to ride this road on a motorcycle. The cops & other locals must know this. Now, why on earth would they try to stop the people from motoring on it? It's because they are complete idiots. I'm not putting up with that crap when I know for certain that I can ride any number of roads in NC & not be persecuted because my vehicle has only 2 wheels. I refuse to subject myself to police extorsion & this is clearly a case of it. 95% of the cagers are never hassled for driving like idiots but any sport bike rider will be pulled over for 2mph over the limit. That's BS. I vote with my wallet & will take my business & dollars elsewhere.

    KC-10 FE out...

I've really wanted to go here and ride for the past year or so now... but this video makes me think otherwise... too bad there wasn't a kenworth coming the other way at those little vdubbs.

Besides this, what are some of the other better locations to ride around the country? I'm from southern michigan and it's relatively flat farmland around here . :-(
