I have been riding since 1965 when a good friend used to work at a service station that rented out Honda 50s. We would take out couple after closing and ride the hills west of Austin, Texas and I was hooked. My first bike was a 1965 Honda CB160 which I rode to work and college for a year and a half and it never, not once, let me down. After graduating, I splurged for 3 straight Harley Sportsters, two CH (Competition Hot) models, the hottest thing going at the time. Not reliable, hard to start, and vibrated so much, parts fell off!! Decided Honda was the brand to have, missed my CB160. I have had many bikes, but my favorites were my 1991 and 1996 VFRs. After retiring from racing in 2001 (AMA Prothunder Series, Team Wreckless, racing Ducati 900SS in 1998, and Ducati 748s in 1999 and 2000) I decided to get another street bike three years ago, my now favorite motorcycle, a 2004 black VFR 800 Interceptor! It has heli bars, stock saddlebags and a GIVI windscreen. Ready to go!Interact
