Hi, I am a fine weather VFR FG biker who has a question.
I have an imported 750 1986 and the carbs when purchased were not running good. I put new jets in also replaced the broken pilot screw. Then fitted a KN filter but cannot seem to get smooth revs through the range. I have set the floats to 9mm after previously setting 7mm as manual and ran very rich. Plugs 2 & 3 colour is very good but 1 & 4 are rich. Can I adjust the pilot screw to these carbs and then rebalance?? Or is there a website to show how to set up the bike as most of the motorcycle shops say they hate VFRs to set up!!!! Akward but some of the comments are throw the carbs away!!
