Hi there, chasing some advise on a few queries I have in relation to my 2000 vfr800. The bike is in excellent condition with 79,000 klms on the clock. It has been well maintained and serviced throughout it's life. I believe the bike's only modification is the Yoshimura pipe. What's my best option to get a bit more performance out of this bike ?? Could I try a K & N air filter, Dynojet Power Commander and perhaps another brand of pipe. Is the Yoshi pipe the best choice for this bike ??

Also, when first started, the bike idles at approx. 1200 rpm. After about 5 mins, it increases to approx. 3500 rpm. This last's for about 5 mins, then drops back to a normal idle speed of 1150 - 1200 rpm. I've also noticed, whilst out on a ride, the idle speed increased up to approx. 4000 rpm and remained at this speed for about 10 mins. This has happened on a couple of occassions now. Could there be a problem with the ECU.
