Anyone out there know where I can find a motorcycle bearing cross reference pdf or catalog?

Need bearing dimension for tapered roller bearings for 6th gen steering stem. I'm fully aware of all balls racing, but i don't need a source, i need the upper and lower bearing dimension without having to remove the whole front end to mic the bearings....

    Well, I was gonna be a nice guy and see exactly what some of these people had to offer, but my dial-up connection is not kind. There might be some useful info here;

Motorcycle hybrid ceramic bearing cross reference guide - BOCA-BEARINGS - PDF Catalogue | Technical Documentation | Brochure | Manual | Industrial directory | Specifications | Characteristics

Boca seems to have a wide variety, but I got tired of waiting for the pages to download. My thought was that anybody offering ceramics as a replacement would have to provide more details than the average reseller.

i spent the better part of my afternoon doing a ridiculous amount of research and came up with the following info:

    Upper Bearing ID = 26mm
    Upper Bearing OD= 47mm
    Upper Bearing Width = 15mm

    Lower Bearing ID = 30mm
    Lower Bearing OD = 55mm
    Lower Bearing Width = 17mm

I also found out that there are Honda Part Numbers for tapered roller bearings for your VFR steering stem and associated dust seals:

    Upper Bearing = 91015-425-832
    Upper Dust Seal = 53214-KA4-701
    Lower Bearing = 91016-371-000
    Lower Dust Seal = 53214-371-010

They are also known as SSH903R bearing set for 6th gens

    Koyo Bearing Numbers:
    32005/26
    32006JRRS

I hope this might help somebody else in the future.

    What's Dial-Up? Is that something new? Ooops. Sorry. I capitalized dial-up didn't I?

Looks like Boca Bearing may have answered this. Norcal can hopefully keep us in the loop.

I did a search at your site and came up with no product currently available for 2005 VFR800, 2006 wasn't even on the drop down menu.....no worries, I'm not really sure that I would install ceramic bearings in a steering stem, even for me, that is a bit extreme.

I was investigating ceramic front wheel bearings for my VFR a month or so ago, just for grins, went to your site and nothing was available at that time either. It didn't give any further information about size, part numbers or anything, for that matter. Basically a worthless search function.

If I decide to do something in the future, I guess I'll just send you an email, with the part numbers. Thanks for offering to help.

It was really slow until I upgraded from the rotary phone. I was thinking of building an adapter for the cordless phone so I could have a Wireless Connection.

I like how this potentially helpful technical thread has turned into a mess of Newfie and idiot.
